Hip to be "square"

Over on the shabby tea room blog there brief this week was to use squares the more the merrier.....I decided to use some embossed paper that I've had for some came from craftwork cards they have some amazing things on there web page take a look...they also have lots of insiration...
the squares where cut and to add dimention there edges where rubbed with antique linen distress ink from tim holts...the squares where add to a piece of bazzil and this was layered onto the card front...and tied with a piece of white ribbon.....
the image is one from a penny black set which was stamped onto a circle cut with nestabilities....I then used the mat pack and paper piercer from stampin up to add the pierced edge....the image was coloured in with promarkers...then attached to the front of the card with foam pads to give it some dimention....thanks for looking
