Hubby been great managed to get main comp working again.....and all my files are stil there....will post to blog later today when more time...thanks...

Hi just posting a quick hello and to inform you to bare with me as my main computer has just thrown a wobbly....i will have to upload to my blog via my netbook.....not great on this yet......also all my work blog files are also on my main comp....grrrr...hope to get it working soon......thanks

Buttons

Hi everyone been having a go at making my own buttons to put on my cards....they where made out of fimeo and sculpty.....quite easy to make...althought rolling out and getting the right thickness is an art form in it's self lol... made quite a few as you have to bake the fimo in the oven to harden it......

any way quite impressed with the results not as good as pre-bought buttons....but will add a bit of difference between my handmade cards....will soldier on making them till they are a bit more perfect....at the moment they are a bit hit and miss with the thickness lol.....the designs where pressed into them from some design sheets you can buy(mine came from hobbycraft)that are rubberised and are just rolled over the top of the rolled out fimo.....thanks for looking and feel free to leave a comment...hopefully when they are more uniformed I might sell them on my blog lol.....

Just magnolia

there card challenge this week was to add flowers buttons and bows....I used flower papers for the back ground....the paper is from a stack that is called dandlion....the magnolia image was stamped onto  a rectangle of card that was cut with the nestabilities as was the scalloped card... this image is one of my favourites....the image was coloured in with promarkers...these are my favourite way of colouring...a bow was attached and the buttons where stuck on with glossy accents...I find this the best adesive to hold these on with...|I always try to finish the inside of the card...the strip inside was cut with a martha stewert punch...thanks for looking...

Cute Card Thursday

I've made a start on taking on card challenges the one below is for cute card thursday....there theme this week is LOVE...the hedgehog is a penny black stamp i've had for ages...I love is little face sooo cute!!!...I stamped him into a label die that is a nestabilitie and coloured him in with promarkers...these are amazing pens you've got to try them...I then added glossy accents over the roses...the papers are from my stash no idea who they are by...the sentiment was generated on my computer...the border wss made with a martha stewert punch as was the little heart that is on the front....

TBC blog hop

I joined britten on the TBC blog hop my first ever and i won....so pleased ....never entered anything like that before....you got points that you could exchange for prizes...my favourite items where stickles....hope they arrive soon....love putting stickles on everything...!!!!
