Hiya everyone below are 2 cards i made for

my daughter who has just had her

15th birthday....where does the time go only seems like

yesterday that she was a babe in arms....anyway onto

the post.....

the image is from magnolia....coloured with copics(sorry forgot

to write down what colours i used) and a selection of prisma pencils

the paper is from my stash as is the Dollie....

the second card the image is from Lilli of the valley just love

to colour her up any excuse i get lol!!!..

hiya all sorry for not posting for a while im sure

u all know what it's like what with running family around

and trying to buy presents and get ready for christmas......

anyway i have just had time to make a quick

card for somebody at my husbands works.......

the papers are from nitwits and the image is from Lilli of the valley

just love there stamps....have bought at lot recently especially

for Christmas....... sorry but

can't remember what copic colours i have used

as didn't write them down straight away...(this is going to be 1 of my new

year resolutions write down colours as they are used)......

i have also used some prisma pencils for definition..

with a new pen copics...Im well impressed

in the past have used promarkers....but

since buying a couple of copics im converted...

they work better for me...easier to control and

they have a brush tip that is finer than promarkers..

they are comparable in price being only slightly

dearer than promarkers....of course its

personal preference....

anyway onto the card...she is coloured in with

grey and green....not sure on the numbers.....the papers

are from my stash.....the flowers are from orchid crafts

and the punch is one from martha stewert...

This card is also for a family member....Hope they like it..

love the colours of the paper very christmasis...

this magnolia is from last year just love her...

the fireplace is also from last year...to make the stockings

sparkle they have had glossy accents applied and then

sprinkled with diamond dust this gives it a lovely texture

and sparkle.....

the posietta is from orchid crafts(they have amazing flowers and trims

go and take a look) this was pulled apart to create 2 lots of petals

and leaves..they had glossy accents applied and where sprinkled

with diamond dust to give a frosted feel...the petals where then

put back together with a brad..the pin and other flowers

where also from orchid crafts...

to finish off I added a charm to the ribbon...thanks for looking

Hi everyone have been very busy crafting

and trying to get ready for Christmas....still

got some shopping to do ....anyway onto the post...

you will have already seen this on a prior posting

I turned it into a card instead of a topper...think

it turned out OK...it's destine for a family member...

because of the height with the flowers have

had to make a box for it to go into...I decorated the box

with a punched out edge using a Martha

Steward punch.....this was the aged to tie everything

for ebay and I'm quite pleased with

myself as one sold!!!!might only be one but

Another magnolia topper...love making these at the

moment...

isn't she adorable wrapped up in her winter scarf...

the background paper is amazing it's very touchy

feely...loads of snowflakes and swirls don't know

who it's by as had it for ages.......

the trees are a magnolia stamp so is the bench

which she sits on...they where coloured in with promarkers

and copics....then carefully cut out and attached

with silicon glue....I then added some fluffy stuff to

look like snow....

the snowflakes in the corner are buttons that I cut the back

of and stuck one on top of the other to make it dimensional...

the roses are from orchid crafts and I've

add some stickles to make them sparkle...

the sentiment was printed on my computer...I

then edged it with some Tim Holt's walnut stain...

I was asked if I could make some thankyou cards

for a friend to give out after her daughter's

birthday party....these are what I came up with....

she wanted something to tie in with a princess theme party....

the crowns where cut using my cricut and the cart happily

ever after...it was cut at 2"...I then added a pearl

stick on and some 3d paint which I sprinkled with

glamour dust...the cards where 3" square...the background paper

I bought from hobbycraft and is by teresa collins...the ribbon

I made these tags to sell....the basic shape is a sizzix die

and was cut out using my sizzix express...this is a marvelous piece of kit

especially for me having slight dexterity probs...

press a button and way you go lol...

anyway I used a brown slightly mottled card stock

as I was going for the vintage look....as this worked better with the stamp I think...

sorry but cant tell you who the stamp is by as it fell off the wooden block

and this got thrown away...I stamped the image in black stazon...the edged

where sponged with time holts walnut stain...and stickles where applied over

the image...the ribbon is sheer and was purchased from

hobby craft for 99p what a bargain...hope you like the tags

Another post with atc....getting quite into these now....

will have to buy some blanks as I've been cutting

them myself and it's quite difficult to get them all the same

corosponding size....

the stamp set is a small that is made especially for making

atc's.....it was stamped onto the card with memento ink.....I then

sponged on various shades of tim holts distressing ink...tumbled glass...

scattered straw....peeled paint.....dusty concord...the pearl is from

my friend I would never make them because

they are too fiddly....they are brilliant to make...

can try out different techniques

the stamp set I used is from woodware...

the background was stamped

with the stamp set ...the stamp set was cut out and coloured

in with copics....and background was sponged with

tim holts distressing ink straw.....

this atc was made the same way as the one above....

I've been making different things

to sell along side my cards...thought I' d have a go

at making some notelet cards to sell....

the image is from just rite stampers it

fits into the nesties....it's coloured in with

copics and then I added glossy accents to

the top of the flowers to make them shine....they where then

placed on to a scalloped nesties...the paper is from dcwv and is called

nana's kitchen....the paper is glossy and glittered...the cards

are 3" square....

these cards where made along the same as the

ones before.....the image is a magnolia.....just love the frog...

he is coloured in with copics....the crown is coloured in with a

metalic gold pen by promarkers.....the background paper

is from my stash....these also are 3" square...

1 card 2 challenges

over on the corrosive challenge blog this week

they are asking for a faux technique...I have chosen

faux stitching....also on the scrappy frogs

challenge this week they are asking you to incorporate

faux stitching.....

this is the card I came up with for the 2 challenges...

the faux stitching is produced using the mat pack from

stampin up.....the papers are also

from stampin up(sorry don't know what they are called)...

the card is bazzill.....

the owl stamp is a new design from woodware....love

owls at the moment....it's stamped onto a nesties...

label 4...and the image is coloured in with a mixture

of promarkers and copics.....have always used promarkers in the past...

because thought copics too expensive to buy...but not much

different in price about 20p...the advantage of copics is that

they have a finner nip against promarkers...I then placed

the nestie back over the image and sponged on brushed

corduroy using a sponge...love the affect is makes...I made the card into an easel..

they sentiment was stamped onto a fancy tag by nesties...

I love the clean lines on these cards so simple

to make but I think less is definitely the way

to go....love the colours aswell think

they go really good together....

the base card is from bazzil...the white top piece of card

was run thought my sizzix express in a cuttle bug

folder....the butterfly's where punched from bazzil

card with a Martha Steward punch....the

bottom of the card is also punched out

this design is also from little claire's...getting quite

a few now bought this the same time as

the girl bear....

I started with a square card and placed a piece of

bazzil card over the top...I then cut out the front of

the card using my nesties...the image was stamped onto

white card using memento ink....and was coloured in with

my trusty promarkers...the image

was cut out using the same nestie as

I used on the front of the card...

the flowers are stuck on with silicon and

are from a company called orchard crafts...

I bought this stamp when I went to

the summer crafting show at doncaster

race course...this is the first time I've stamped

her up....It's from a company called little

claire they have some amazing stamps...

checked them out....

I started off with a square card and folded half of the

front back onto it's self.....proberly has a technical

name for it lol!!!....the card front is covered with

some bazzil and a bow tied around...the paper on

the back of the card is from my stash...

the image was stamped with memento and

coloured in with my promarkers....the image was cut with

my nesties and placed onto a scalloped circle...and

I pop dotted the image off the front of the card...

today enjoyed a whole day of crafting....

got quite a few cards made for my stash....

this is a new stamp I bought yesturday

at my local craft shop.....it's a new line they are stocking...

the stamp was inked up with memento ink

and the background is a mixture of shabby shutter's

and peeled paint from tim holts...they where applied

with cut and dry foam...the image was then mounted

onto black card....

the title was printed out and randomly cut

and stuck onto the design paper....the paper is from my

stash....quite funky I think lol!!!!...

here she is again stamped with memento and

I used the same effect as before but using

tumbled glass and faded jeans....

the paper is from my stash a christmas

one I think....the edges where punched

with a martha stewert punch....thanks

went to a sword dancing compertion her

first one....her team won....sooo proud

of her.....

her she is showing off her rosette and the cup....she gets

to keep it for a week then hand it onto

wooly bears....it has lots of accessories

including a heart....tops....and bows..

it's great for paper piercing.....the bear was coloured in

a set by making memories there bridal range....

Party Invitations

Hi everyone in blogging land sorry for not posting

in a while....what with work....kids and house work

had no time to make any card.....anyway onto the

post.....I was asked to make some party invitations

for a childrens party....

the brief my friend gave me was to use blue and red....and

to have some ballons on them....had to make them generic

because they where for a childrens party for twins a girl

and a boy...this is the design I came up with...

the scallop was cut using my nesties....the oblog was also

using my nesties

the ballons where made on my cricut... and

the party invitation was printed on my

computer and cut out...red ribbon was tied around

the invitation...and on the back

of the invitation i added the time and

the place off the party...

Hi everyone just a quick check -in not had much time to

make some cards this week....this weekend has been

very busy...my youngest daughter has been sword dancing

at a local festival...saturday and sunday...

so proud of her....this is the first time she has danced with

the troupe in public...very nervous but did fantastic

how they manage to move with the swords and not give each other a hair

cut I don't know LOL....

Over at Tickled Pink blog their challenge this week is to use the sketch

and to make a matching bookmark

you also have to use any stamps that

they sell well surprise they sell magnolia....

I'm into making larger cards at the moment...this is

a piece of card folded in half....can never

remember the sizes lol.....

the image was coloured in with my trusty

promarker's and was cut out with nesties...

the paper from the background is from my stash...

the ribbon is from hobbycraft...they sell loads

of ribbon on reels and it starts at 99p a bargin..

the punched edge at the bottom is a martha

stewert punch...

the punched heart is also a martha stewert and

to give some dimention on the middle

panel I used some foam dots to pop

her off...

the bookmark was made in the same style...here they are together..

think I'll send them together as part of the card...

love the idea...

I am entering this card into a few challenges...I have made the card

to give to my daughter when she has finished sitting her

gcse exams....she has been working very hard studying..I

hope she gets the grades she wants to enable her to attend

college.....fingers crossed lol....anyway onto the card...

the image is magnolia ...I think the new stamps are amazing...

will have to buy some more....the background polka

dot paper is from craftwork cards...they sell some amazing

poducts....check them out....the ribbon also got polka

dots on it and is from my stash...

the magnolia image was coloured in with my promarkers...just love these...

the oval was cut with my nesties on my sizzix express...

the border punch is from martha stewert...and I pleated some card

to add some further intrest and another dimention...

the" congratulations" was cut on my cricut

using the wild cart...the rose is also from

magnolia and I pop-dotted the flower to add

some dimention

I also finished the inside of the card like to do this to

bring the whole of the card together...

is anything thats fun....

I have chosen to do a gardening theme...althought I'm not very good

at gardening when I do garden it is quite theraputic...lol....

the image is from woodware and I stamped it in memento

and coloured it in with my promarkers...

the paper is from my minds eye...

I made the card in the shape of an easel card love

week is to use a colour combo of pink and green...

her's is to make an easel card....

love making easel cards they are my fav....anyway

the paper that I've used is from stampin up...and so is the card..

the corners where cut on my sizzix express using a die from

sizzix called elegant enhancement....

the stamped image was a free set from a crafting magazine...just

love the little mouse...I paper pieced the flower using the back

of the main paper which is green...the image was coloured in with promarkes..

the sentiment was from the same stamp set...hope it meets the criteria for

It's hubby's birthday today and after making the cards for the girl's

I had to come up with another design for me to make him...

found this die that makes a shirt...don't know who it's made by...

the paper is from my stash...and the title is cut out on my cricut

using the all mixed up cart....

the scalloped circle and plain circle where cut on my sizzix express...

to add dimention I pop dotted the shirt to stand proud

of the circles ....the stripped paper that is used for the

shirt came out of a paper pack by forever

bought some more magnolia stamps this weekend...could'nt

wait to ink them up....fortunatly it's hubby's birthday....made 2 cards for my daughter's

to give to there dad...think they turned out ok...coloured them in with promarkers(my favourite colouring medium)...the titles where cut on my cricut...using the all mixed up font..the paper's are from my stash...and the buttons are what I bought when I went to the stamp magic show at the dome...not long to go now till the show is here end of june....anyway thanks for looking and feel free to leave a comment.....

to make it...I had to modify mine a bit

because I cut out the apicture a bit on the large side...

the stamp is a new one from magnolia could'nt

wait to ink her up...think she has turned out ok..

I coloured her in with tim holts disstressing ink...

and cut her out with my nesties....the paper is by

mind's eye and is called hip and luxurious..

strawberry's always remind me of summer...

that is why I choose them for my card design...

I've had a go at masking so that tilda is sitting on the

strawberry...also love the tilda image with the flower..

the image was coloured in with my promarkers...

getting quite a few of these now...

the paper is from bo bunny...I think is also reminds me

of summer...the colours are brilliant...

the square and scalloped square where cut

with my nesties...

also finished the inside of the card with border that was

me and my friend went to a stampin up party

we had a blast ....and it was a great evening...

you get to make a poject and play with the

products....this card uses the items I bought

the stamp set is called trendy trees...this is a two part set..

you stamp the tops of the trees...then the branches...the

seniment is included in the stamp set...

the orange string is from my stash...

over at sweet sunday there challenge this week is a sketch..

love following sketches helps with creators block lol..

anyway onto the card...I bought this new magnolia

stamp from my local craft shop...could'nt wait to get home to

ink here up...it's a magnolia stamp..coloured her in

using tim holts distress ink...the border across the middle

is a martha stewert one...creates a lovley flower border...

the paper is from stampin up...

the sentment stamp is also from stampin up...and to

add some more interest I add some decorative pins...one is a flower

and the other one is just a silver head...the pins are from a set

bought at my local hobbycraft....they where in the wedding section..

as well as entering this card in sweet sunday I'm also

entering it in the Magnolia Down Under challenge...there challenge this week is

flowers hope the punched strip and the flowers pin

Don't seem to make many male cards....when I do can never decided what to put on them.....made this card for my friends husband it's his birthday today....he loves formula 1 so for a change knew what I wanted my card to turn out like.....

trying to find a new way to photograph cards when I've made a few of the same design.....came up with these holders.....they are actually for holding place card settings at a wedding....think they work out ok thought......they came from my local Range store.....minimal cost 3.49p for a set of 3.....

while at the range I also bought some lovely paper's called linen closest from die cuts with a view.....really pale creams and a touch of blue and green.....some of the paper's are glittered.....

this is the paper I used on these cards unfortunatly you cannot see it on the photo......this is a closeup of the card holder's......

the flowers where stamped onto white card with tim holts inks......I used scattered straw and antique linen...they where then cut out using my sizzix express and the label 4 spellbinder's die...the edge was then sponged with antique linen....the greeting is from my stash and was stamped with tim holts walnut stain....thanks for looking.....

over on there blog this week there is a sketch to follow...love following sketches as I get loads of inspiration...and also the design team come up with some amazing cards go and take a look...It's well worth it....

this is the card that I came up with today....the background paper's are from my stash....I'll have to stop buying paper as Im overrun with it can't resist lol....the image is a magnolia and is coloured in with tim holts distressing inks....she was then cut out with labels ten.....the border is a martha stewert punch...it was punched out of bazzil the bow was made on a version of a bow maker (hubby made it)....the buttons where tied with twine and stuck on...the sentiment is from tiny words a woodware stamp set...

I like to add something to the inside of the cards I make to to pull the who;e design together....I punched a fancy edge using a martha stewert punch rubbed it with time holts ditressing ink and mounted it onto the same paper as the front of the card...thanks for looking....

the card was made for 4 challenges Creative Card Challenge 48 (happy birthday)....A Spoon Full Of Sugar(happy birthday)...Just Magnolia (anything goes)....Into making large cards at the moment.....you can get a lot more embelishments onto them....the background paper is from my stash.....

the magnolia image was stamped onto white card and coloured in with tim holts distressing ink....it was then cut out using labels 10....then I used the stampin up mat pack and paper piercer to pierce the edge....it was then mounted onto a larger label that was cut out of bazzil....

the flower was puched out of the same paper as the background and screwed into a ball and flattened out....a hole was piered through and threaded with a brad...thanks for looking....

made another card that covers 2 challenges....over at Lord Have Mercy blog the challenge this week is to follow the sketch above...hope the card I came up with is ok...and over at Magnolia Down Under's blog there challenge this week is masking an image....

this is the first time I have done this techique and it took a while to master....finally cracked it lol...the papers used on the card are various designs from my stash....I made the card A4 size to beable to put the image on...didn't realise how big it was....

it is a magnolia image and so is the suger bag sooo cute!!!...it is watercoloured in with tim holts distressing inks....love how it turned out....

and finally had to add something to the inside of the card to finish it off....stamped part of the image and coloured in as before...sponged distressing ink around the edge to finish it off....think this works ok....thanks for looking.....

1 card three challenges

this is the first time I've ever entered a card that fits 3 seperate card challenges......

the first is from the Just Magnolia blog and there's is a sketch to follow with a magnolia image on somewhere...the BBTB blog wanted a magnolia image with a cut from the cricut... and the Creative Belli blog wanted a die cut.......here is what I came up with ....

the card is quite large for a change A4 to beable to get everything on....the background was cut with cricut....using storybook and cut with green bazzil....

the image was water coloured in with tim holts distress ink....it was stamped onto a die cut circle from spellbinders cut on my sizzix express.....

the border punch is a martha stewert....and the pearls just finish the card of nicely with a bit of bling...got to have some bling on cards lol....

always like to add something inside the cards I make just to pull the whole card together and finish it off....a piece of card was edged with some tim holts ditress ink.....some puched out leaves using a martha stewert punch just finish off the card...thanks for looking....

went to my local craft shop yesturday they have some amazing things....the papers are to die for ...they have loads of samples on the walls for inspiration....the people who run it give loads of advice and are always happy to help with any questions...

it's called the Craft Box at Elsecar Heritage Centre they are also online

go and take a look at there web page...I bought some of the new spellbinders dies some lovely papers.....

some more bazzil card always buy this to add to my stock.....and of course could resist some magnolia stamps

Hip to be "square"

Over on the shabby tea room blog there brief this week was to use squares the more the merrier.....I decided to use some embossed paper that I've had for some time....it came from craftwork cards they have some amazing things on there web page take a look...they also have lots of insiration...

the squares where cut and to add dimention there edges where rubbed with antique linen distress ink from tim holts...the squares where add to a piece of bazzil and this was layered onto the card front...and tied with a piece of white ribbon.....

the image is one from a penny black set which was stamped onto a circle cut with nestabilities....I then used the mat pack and paper piercer from stampin up to add the pierced edge....the image was coloured in with promarkers...then attached to the front of the card with foam pads to give it some dimention....thanks for looking

Pennys Challenge

over on their site this week there challenge is anything goes...I thought long and hard for this challenge....and taking inspiration from them I decided to enter a layout....they don't see many on there site....

this layout was done a while ago love using black and white photo's...I caught my daughter is a rare moment...

these day's seem to spend more time online with her friends lol....

the paper's are from my stash and the main colour is from bazzil....always use this as it holds it shape nice...

It came together very nice not tooo fussy...

the added addition of the pocket finished it off nicely....

I asked questions and got some great answers....they where printed out using various fonts on word...the hip chick just finished off nice I thought...thanks for looking....

Over that this blog this week there challenge is to add texture so to make a touchy feely card.....I've kept mine pretty simple......

the texturing comes from the paper which is by Die Cuts With a View and is labelled La Creme....it is flocked and soooo touchable!!!...the stamped image is magnolia and is water coloured using tim halts distressing ink scattered straw a simple sentiment and a piece of ribbon and the outside of the card is finished

as you know I do like to add something to the inside to bring the card together.....a sentiment from hero arts and a piece of the paper from the front and the card is finished...hope it meets the brief ok ...thanks for looking....

While I am off work for the easter holidays I'm trying to get infront with my crafting.....I'm determined this year all my christmas cards will be ready for the end of november.....had some scalloped cards for a while now and have not used them thought they would make a change from the normal cards...the stamp is from a company called little claire designs they have some amazing stamps check them out on the internet....part of the design was stamped onto paper and cut out(the scarf)....not normally into mass production like to make one off designs....made 11 altogether...thanks for looking and feel free to leave a comment....

Over at Bitten By The Bug there challenge this week is to use the rick rack cut from plantin school book......after stamping the magnolia image and colouring her in with promarkers(love these) and mounting her I realised she would not fit on A5 card which I normally use.....I decided to turn the card and place her on top hope this works.....the paper is from my stash and the blue card used is bazzil....this gives an exellent finish to the card.....the sentiments are from stampin up....and my new tool from stampin up paper piercer and template......thanks for looking and feel free to leave a comment....

Over at FCC this week there challenge is anything with water,rain etc.......this scrapbook page is from some time ago when I first started scrapbooking....it's a family holiday to ibiza in 2003 the girls where only 6 and 4 don't they look adorable.....the water effect paper I have had some time so don't know where it came from(if anybody knows where I can buy some more from?my craft buddy is after some for her scrapbook!!)...the tags are from TBAB and peel off's are added....the layout is quite basic...my work as evolved more over time I hope!!!!...thanks for looking and feel free to leave a comment.....

Magnolia and Cute Card Thursday challenge

Magnolia's challenge this week was quite hard for me because I love lots of colour on my cards....there challenge was vintage....I've also entered this card in Cute Card Thursdays challenge which is mono(used different shades of grey)..I don't tend to use much grey in my card making so this was a first for me....

the card stock is bazzil love making this style of card think it makes the design more interesting...the image I've used quite a bit especially for my christmas cards....she was coloured in with tim holts distressing pad (black soot) i rubbed some on an acrylic block then used a brush to water colour her in....had to add a bit of bling this was done by adding a small charm from my stash.....and of course couldn't resist by adding a touch of colour with some card candy by craftwork cards....the sentiment is from a set by hero arts(dont remember the name)...this is a first for me I've never entered the same card in for 2 challenges....thanks for stopping by and looking feel free to leave a comment......

Cat Book

As you know from my last post we lost part of our family the other day our belovided cat called ginger....he had been with the family for a long time well before the children came along we miss him dreadfully but look back in fond memory off all the things he did and the laughter he brought to us. ...the book I made was using the cricut and the animal kingdom cart the colours are as near as I could get and are cut out of bazzil card, this makes quite a sturdy book....I used a black pen to outline certain areas on the cat to make it more realistic.... the papers are a mixture from my stash some are bo bunny and the other are some I've had some time.....I have still got to add photo's to the book which will take some time and the children are going to help me pick some out of the vast collection.....Thanks for taking the time to look......

Had a bad day yesturday my cat called ginger(nickname grommits)passed away he's been with the family a long time...he arrived to us from the cats rescue at the start of our live together in our first house....even before the children came along...we think at the time he was about 1 year old....he didnt have a bad life treated very well and well looked after (I will miss him)...anyway I am making a book about his life...I will post the book when it is finished...will be making it with the help of my cricut and my daughters...thanks for looking...

Mother-in-laws birthday

So sorry for not posting for a while what with work and kids had no time to craft.....these are two cards I made for my mother-in-laws birthday...1 was for mum and another said grandma.....the actual cards where cut on my sizzix express(which is a replacement for the 1 that broke)using a exra long die to cut the card ....love the shape of these....the images were stamped and mat and layered...quite simple cards for me for a change....the edge was pieced using the stampin up mat pack and paper pricker(love this effect)new craft item you will probebly see this one quite a few cards in the future...thanks for looking....the stamps used on the mum card are stampin up(love there products) and the stamps used on the grandma card are from levina... they have some great stamps checkout there web site....I bought mine when I went to the dome craft fare calle dstamp magic for you people that are not in the know it's held twice a year at the doncaster dome and has some great stalls and products....not long to wait it's on in june....thanks for looking...

Buttons

Hi everyone been having a go at making my own buttons to put on my cards....they where made out of fimeo and sculpty.....quite easy to make...althought rolling out and getting the right thickness is an art form in it's self lol... made quite a few as you have to bake the fimo in the oven to harden it......

any way quite impressed with the results not as good as pre-bought buttons....but will add a bit of difference between my handmade cards....will soldier on making them till they are a bit more perfect....at the moment they are a bit hit and miss with the thickness lol.....the designs where pressed into them from some design sheets you can buy(mine came from hobbycraft)that are rubberised and are just rolled over the top of the rolled out fimo.....thanks for looking and feel free to leave a comment...hopefully when they are more uniformed I might sell them on my blog lol.....

there card challenge this week was to add flowers buttons and bows....I used flower papers for the back ground....the paper is from a stack that is called dandlion....the magnolia image was stamped onto a rectangle of card that was cut with the nestabilities as was the scalloped card... this image is one of my favourites....the image was coloured in with promarkers...these are my favourite way of colouring...a bow was attached and the buttons where stuck on with glossy accents...I find this the best adesive to hold these on with...|I always try to finish the inside of the card...the strip inside was cut with a martha stewert punch...thanks for looking...

Hi everyone hope you all had a great christmas...mine was brill....as the girls are older didnt have to get up as early 8am a resonable hour lol....i've decided before i pack my christmas stamps,paper etc away i'll make some more cards then i'm infront for next year...i'm now able to post to my blog from anywhere in the house as santa brought me a netbook it's fantastic....the other disapointment before christmas was my new toy sizzix expression just stopped working...the shop where i bought it from has been amazing and has phoned sizzix and a new one is on it's way.....will have to borrow my big shot back from my crafting friend as she has borrowed it as her's has broken...hopefully it'll get mended then i'll put my big shot up for sale...electric express so much easier to use as i've problems with my hand turning the handle...i've signed up for my first rak on the cricut website....you have to make 25 layered cuts using the alphabet excluding 'x' the person who makes the best of them wins a cartridge for the cricut hope it's me lol.....will post 2 or 3 on my blog when finished as i want to save the rest for the recipent..bye for now...HAPPY NEW YEAR....

My crafting buddie after looking at my halloween book asked me if I could make one for here so she could scrapbook her daughters halloween book...I made it slightly different from the original and choose to make it tall...It took a bit more working out about the binding but I got there in the end....It was made with the design studio using accent essentials for the square shapes and paper doll dress up for the the halloween items..the ribbon is from my stash..the papers are bo bunny and the card stock is bazzil(I find it gives the best results when used with my cricut)...the fancy edge for the mat was made using a new punch I bought that is from martha stewert...

The coffin was made in the design studio I welded 2 together and flipped 1 so they would meet up and it was cut out so it was abled to been opened...I placed a skeliton on one half and the other was made so she could add some writing....

The tags where made in bags tags and boxes and they where placed in an oversized trick or treat bag and she can add photo's to them or journaling..

These cards where made using my new big shot express...I cut out the scalloped background using nestabilities they work a treat.....only took a second glad I bought it.....the polar bear stamp is from a company called Littles Claires they have some amazing stamps take a look on there web site they also have some examples to give you soom great ideas.....I've coloured the stamp in with my promarkers.....the raindeer card is made die cutting a sizzlet die I got some time ago.....first time I've used it think it goes great with the striped paper this is by daisy and dandelion....I now like to make the inside of the cards just as nice as the outside using the same papers or contrasting papers the greetings on the inside are stampes with great impressions and cut out with nestabilities.....thanks for looking will post some cards later....lots more still to make...I've nearly finished my christmas shopping thankgoodness....love christmas but always lots to do at the last minute....

my local craft shop has had a sale today me and my crafting friend have been and I've bought myself an early Christmas Pressie a Big Shot Express
all I can say is WOW!!!...although I've got a cricut I still love my big shot but was having problems using it....the express is amazing cuts spellbinders in a trice(need loads of circles and scallopes to make christmas cards....normally set the girls on cutting them out LOL!!!)the craft shop had loads of things at half price....papers.....ribbon....some sizzix dies....spent up.....bought some lovely papers to make christmas cards with will post later when I've made some more cards.....

Here are a few pictures of the cards I've been asked to create for a friend for her family for christmas.....Really love the shaped card it was cut on the cricut from the wild card cart.....The papers that are used are various from my stash.....The stamped images are the new ones out from magnolia love there image....they are coloured in with promarkers.....the other stamped images are various ones I've got in my stash and cant tell you who they are by sorry!!!!.....enjoy looking......off now to make some more cards for tommorrow for the girls to send to their friends need about 25 each yikes!!!!... and need to make some for the family.....will post some more cards tomorrow ......
